My winter break was nothing really happened. My family and I went to Sacramento twice and Las Angeles twice as well to go see schools for my sister Samantha and I.
We visited UTI because they were having a scholarship event and a tour of the school, it was pretty fascinating and exciting seeing the school, It was about 4 hours long but I never had a dull moment. Right after that day we headed towards L.A. to see the school my sister wants to attend, which was FIDM. It was all about fashion and design opening up a business, creating your own clothes line. Not very interesting but we went out to eat afterwards so I made the best of it.
First semester was pretty challenging , but only because I would procrastinate. I would wait until the last minute to do all my work. I became very stressed because everything and all my work from every class would pile up and I felt like I wouldn’t make even a dent in my work if I worked for 3 hours straight. I had to play the catch up game and I had to get on the ball quick, I didn’t have time for myself or to enjoy after school because I was lazy and always thought that I could do it right before the due date. But that wasn’t the case I fell behind and failed two of my classes out of seven.
Yes It hit me really hard that this will be my last year or last semester In this school at the same time I’m happy but sad. It didn’t really hit me until i had went for my cap and gown at the Jostens meeting with all the Seniors. I need to accomplish many things one of them is math i need to finish geometry. I’m almost done but I keep doing work and then when I’m done with a little bit i stop and wait weeks until I work again. It’s a habit that i can’t break but I’m working on it little by little and I tend to work a little more now but still have that habit of procrastinating.
I plan on attending UTI after I graduate from High School, and finding a house for my wife and my newborn baby. After I finish school up In Sacramento I would love to open up a business with my best friend David Rendon. Actually I plan on opening up more than just one, but I’m going to take It slow and see where It goes with the first one.
