As this school year comes to an end I am getting very nervous, and actually stressing a lot about that day to come. The days are getting counted down and the stress on my shoulders are getting heavier, all the class work is piling up and the sleepless nights are becoming something that is normal now. So much work that needs to get done and little time. Procrastination plays a big part in this situation, something that everyone does but to a certain extent. Me on the other hand I do this tell time Is almost gone and cram 3 weeks of work into 2 nights. Very nerve racking to see this day coming.
I have prepared myself for after graduation, I applied to UTI In Sacramento Ca. and have applied for many scholarships and finished my financial aid process. My family and I have went and toured the campus on March 5th. I also got the chance to talk to some of the teachers and reps that I will be associating with when I’m there. I have also looked at houses for My wife and my child that’s soon to come and prepared myself for the future to best that I could.
All that is left to do Is finish my classes and graduate from Lindsay High School. There is not much that still needs to get done because I have taken all the steps to preparing myself for my future. Preparing myself was one of the things I did not procrastinate on because I can not be irresponsible anymore because I'm not looking after just myself anymore now I’m looking after two other people that play a big role In my life.
Honestly the biggest part I’m looking forward to Is moving after I graduate, just because It’s going to be challenging and take serious responsibility. Something I never really had to gain much of, and as scary as that sounds I’m actually ready for it and can't wait. Getting to move into a home with my wife and my child on Its way Is a big dream of mine that I have had for along time, I chose to make It happen and that’s why I have no more time for games.
I’m very grateful for my mother on pushing me and making me do the things she did during my years here at LHS. She Is someone that never gave up on me and always wanted the best for me, never accepted any excuses or failures. I will forever be In debt with my mom for helping me, encouraging me and for supporting me In all my decisions. Also very grateful for my teacher Mr. Wood for helping me with math and never giving up even when I would ignore him or not turn work In he never gave up never stopped trying to get me to pace, someone that grew on me. I see him as a friend and as an inspiration this man deserves respect and much more from all his students, he truly does know how to be a great teacher.
